The Interview Process
The interview day affords us the opportunity to learn more about you than your application can tell us. The day also allows you to find out more about the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine. We want to get to know you; we are interested in the depth of your intellectual curiosity, your values and your commitment to a career of service. Your interviewers will ask you a variety of questions that will help them determine your communication skills, compassion for others and your motivation for practicing medicine in a multicultural society.
Interviews will be conducted on most Wednesdays between September and March. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted via email 1-2 weeks prior to the interview date.
All interviews for the 2024-2025 admissions cycle will be conducted online via Zoom.
To complete the online interview, you will need the following:
- A stable internet connection
- A computer or tablet with a good webcam and microphone
- A private, quiet, and well-lit space that is free from distractions
For more interview tips, please see the AAMC Virtual Interviews: Tips for Medical School Applicants. Applicants should not hesitate to contact the Admissions Office with questions or concerns regarding their ability to complete the online interview.
