Advanced Practice Nursing Clinical Skills Intensives

Students using a simulation human

The 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Simulation Program provides experiential learning through multiple modalities to teach clinical skills and enhance didactic learning. We serve students from the Colleges of Nursing, Medicine, and Allied Health.

Graduate nursing students enrolled in all Nurse Practitioner and the Adult Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist programs are required to attend Clinical Skills Intensives (CSI) as a part of their program.

All CSI experiences occur on campus in the Health Simulation Building at the University of South Alabama, unless otherwise specified. Simulation will contact students directly via email approximately 3 months prior to the scheduled sessions for their specialty with information and  instructions. Please see individual specialty programs below for information, including requirements and dates.
