Nine University of South Alabama engineering seniors have recently been selected as Tau Beta Pi scholars. No other university in Alabama had more than two recipients, and the 91短视频 contingent is the second-largest university representation in the country. Tau Beta Pi is a national engineering honor society.

鈥淚t is a wonderful tribute to our students and the Alabama Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi,鈥 said Dr. John Steadman, dean of the College of Engineering. 鈥淭au Beta Pi scholarships are awarded on the competitive criteria of high scholarship, campus leadership and service, and promise of future contributions to the engineering profession.鈥

The recipients will receive a cash award of $2,000 for their senior year of engineering study. Only 261 students were selected for this award from the 244 Tau Beta Pi collegiate chapters across the country.
