For purposes of data security, the University of South Alabama provides encrypted laptops for Faculty and Staff traveling internationally, with a priority given to countries that are listed on the State Department's travel advisory list.
We highly recommend requesting a travel laptop as soon as you know your travel schedule, and at least two weeks before your departure. Laptops are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. If your trip has been approved, please use this form to request a travel laptop. Once approved, you will receive a notification and further instructions regarding pickup and return information. Please note that you will need to provide University identification when picking up the laptop.
