Dr. Urvashi Jain

Dr. Urvashi Jain is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Real Estate at the Mitchell College of Business, University of South Alabama. She is an applied microeconomist, with research interests in the economics of aging, health economics, and development economics.

Dr. Jain received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California. She was born and raised in New Delhi, India. She earned her M.S. in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, and a B.A. in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
