Concurrent Enrollment Nursing Program with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
A limited-access, upper-division program
91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Concurrent ADN to BSN program allows you to earn an 91¶ÌÊÓƵ nursing degree more quickly than the 2+2 model.
Through this unique, concurrent enrollment program, you will take ADN-level courses at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College while also taking BSN courses taught by 91¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty delivered in an online format. When you complete your ADN degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, you may have already earned more than half of your BSN credits – and will complete the remainder of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s RN to BSN program in a convenient, flexible online format.
Students who are enrolled in 91¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Concurrent ADN to BSN program may be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN after successfully completing the ADN portion of their program and prior to enrolling in their final BSN courses at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. Students will also be required to complete all pre-requisite courses prior to continuing enrollment in the RN to BSN program after graduation.

Students qualify for early admittance into the RN to BSN Pathway if they have completed the following requirements:
- 2.5 GPA on all prerequisite coursework
- Completion of all (8) prerequisite courses
- Completion of the first three semesters of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing program
Early admittance students are eligible to enroll in one RN to BSN course during their 4th semester and up to two RN to BSN courses during their 5th semester of the ADN program.
Students are given full admission to the RN to BSN program after they successfully complete the National Council for Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and meet all other admission criteria. If a student does not successfully complete their NCLEX-RN during the first academic semester after graduation from their ADN program, they must postpone enrollment in the RN to BSN program until they pass the NCLEX-RN.
